In 2024, Costa Rica Takes Center Stage
[ad_1]
If you haven’t noticed, Costa Rica has been making headlines lately. At Costa Rica Experts, we love this well-deserved attention. I personally feel compelled to shout it from the rooftops! So this is me – shouting it from the rooftops. 😉
But really, I think both of these noteworthy features are fun for those considering travel, those already booked, and those of us who have already enjoyed days under the Costa Rica sun. Who knows? We may just have to go back…
Travel + Leisure’s Destination of The Year for 2024: Costa Rica
This is cool. Travel + Leisure named Costa Rica their Destination of The Year for 2024. Their editor & chief, @JacquiGiff, elaborated on the selection this way:
The destination we all need right now. A place where environmental quality of life is written into the constitution. Where the wildlife is unparalleled, and the eco-lodge was arguably born.

You can find the Costa Rica feature in their Dec/Jan issue, as well as on their website which is basically a mini-website with lots of great reads and excellent graphics. We highly recommend checking it out for inspiration! And of course, if you have any questions about incorporating anything into your trip, we’d be happy to help!

Introducing Travel + Leisure’s 2024 Destination of the Year: Costa Rica. 🇨🇷👏 There’s no single recipe for enjoying this peaceful paradise, but any road you take will likely bring the same result: a sense of wonder and a desire to return.
ABC’s The Golden Bachelor at The Springs Resort, Arenal Volcano

Okay, maybe this is for a niche audience, but if anyone here has enjoyed The Bachelor in the past (me 🙋♀️), you’ll have to check out the finale of this season’s Golden Bachelor. It was hosted at The Springs Resort & Spa at Arenal Volcano. The final episode will air on November 30 at 8/7 central on ABC. It’s also streaming on Hulu.
To be honest, I haven’t watched the start of the season, but I was married at The Springs Resort so you can bet I’ll be reliving that day tomorrow night, reluctant husband in tow. Let’s all tune in and pretend we are soaking in those hot springs!

Oh, hey Peter! 👋 Pictured: 2020 Bachelor Peter at his private infinity pool, The Springs Resort
Fun fact: The Bachelor has been hosted at The Springs Resort at Arenal several times. Here’s a write-up of their last visit in 2020 with Peter.
And because no one asked, here are some of my wedding photos from when The Springs Resort first opened the luxury Aracari Building in 2016. I’m sorry. I can’t resist.
This is a bit of a departure from our typical content, but I hope it was fun! If the travel bug strikes (& we hope it does), we’d love to help you put a custom trip together that is just right for you.
